Criteria
- NGO Status: The applying organization must be a registered and legally recognized non-governmental organization (NGO) with a proven track record of actively engaging in social, environmental, or humanitarian causes.
- Mission Alignment: The NGO's mission and objectives should align with the values of the granting organization. Priority will be given to NGOs working in areas such as education, healthcare, poverty alleviation, environmental conservation, human rights, and community development.
- Demonstrated Need: The NGO must demonstrate a genuine need for a website or mobile application and the potential impact it could have on achieving its goals. This could include improved outreach, increased donor engagement, better communication, or wider community involvement.
- Limited Resources: Preference will be given to NGOs with limited financial resources or those operating on a small scale, as the grant aims to provide support to organizations that might not have the means to invest in a website or mobile application independently.
- Commitment to Maintenance: The NGO should be committed to maintaining and updating the website regularly. A website that remains current and informative will enhance the organization's credibility and engagement.
- Clear Content and Purpose: The NGO must have a clear understanding of the content and purpose of the website or application. This includes identifying the target audience, defining key messages, and providing relevant materials such as images, videos, and written content.
- Collaboration: The NGO should be willing to collaborate with our development team to provide necessary information, feedback, and approvals during the product development process.
Guidelines
- Application Process: Interested NGOs should submit an application detailing their organization's background, mission, objectives, and how a digital product would contribute to their goals. Any supporting documents or materials should be included in the application.
- Selection Committee: A selection committee comprising representatives from the granting organization and domain experts will review applications and select deserving NGOs based on the provided criteria.
- Product Development: Once selected, the NGO will collaborate with a team of developers and designers. The NGO's preferences and vision will be taken into consideration during the design and development process.
- Training and Support: Upon completion, the NGO will receive training on how to manage and update the website's content. Ongoing technical support will be provided to address any issues or questions.
- Website Launch: The completed website will be launched and made live for public access, allowing the NGO to begin utilizing its online platform effectively.
- Reporting and Evaluation: The NGO will be required to provide periodic reports on how the website is contributing to its objectives. This feedback will help assess the impact of the grant and make necessary improvements.
